After going up 7-0 in the semi-finals, thanks in large part to Jason Kelly, Eugene Award winner Mike Foley reaggravated his hamstring, thus putting the FFBLers at a significant disadvantage. Although Foley gave up three runs to the Great Set Of Lids, Kid in the National League Conference Championship, Kelly again provided the offense to secure the FFBLers' place in the finals against Wifflepalooza IV champion Dangerous Daytonians.

Jason Kelly and his FFBL'ers returned to Wifflepalooza and made a statement: they are championship material. Despite the injuries, the FFBL'ers made it to the Final Four. The team has an explosive offense and a solid defense. Some argue the entire FFBL'ers squad could be considered contenders for Mr. Palooza.
